Nothing wrong with a good old cable. For an enduro/trail bike you don't want electronics to fail.

Which is why punters continue to steer away from dirt bike offerings with electric start only, ie no kick start

Whats the world coming to? Enduros without a kicker and roadies without a start button(SR400). thats KLEVA marketing yamaha.

Autolubes are the best thing since sliced bread.. if they are done correctly.

Top the oil tank off in the morning and forget it, no carrying a spare bottle  with you or pre mixing enough to get you through the ride and have it settle out while its waiting for you..
Ive never had to rebuild a crank on any of my Suzuki CCI .Some systems do work well.

I do hope the electrics are reliable as its a pain trying to push start a bike thats bogged up to the side plates.

..or one from a '97 ish YZ 250 WR ?

From the Yamaha Australia website:

"The new two-stroke will be available with an optional cross country rec rego kit which is expected to prove popular in states that offer recreational registration."

No mention of how much extra the kit costs, but if you were buying one new I expect you could negotiate something.
