Hunter MCC Trackmasters 11-12 April
« on: March 16, 2015, 03:01:07 pm »
Hunter MCC is holding its annual Trackmasters event on the 11th and 12th of April at Barleigh Ranch.
Looks like practice and 2 rounds on Saturday and 3rd round, repercharge's and finals on Sunday.
There is a Pre 90 class for anybody that is interested. as wel as over 35's, ATV's and all the usual modern and Junior classes.
Supp Regs and entry details can be seen on the Hunter MCC facebook page or at Lyndel Butlers race secretary page.

Had a ride at the track last weekend and by the looks of those dialing their bikes in there will be a good field of riders competing.

Spoke to Darren about the event, apparently poorly supported. If I may make a suggestion, the evo class had a 500cc limit at the Hunter event, this probably excluded most TT500's from the race as they may displace over 500cc. With our current MOM's the Over 263cc class may have had the class better supported. Just a thought, as 500cc racing in the classic class is a non-event.

I don"t think a feww cc's would have mattered as it's pretty casual at Hunter.
Maybe the entry fee, the fact that its run over 2 days or the clash with the MX titles had something to do with it.
There is a practice day at Nepean also, all that aside I was the only entry.
I will make the suggestion to make it an open class next year,

Also a 250 class would of attracted a few extra punters who would of ridden in the open class as a second ride which would offer more riding over the 2 days!!  8)
