Ted strikes me as being more of a Mambo man than a Billabong man

Glorious weather, absolutely perfect for a Vintage Trail Ride weekend.
Couldn't wish or ask for better weather conditions.

I have been too busy to have a mount ready and loaded, ah well.
In the dream that woke me this morning, I was standing in the sign on line up :o :o ::) Doh!

Great weekend just to go for a drive anyhow.
May even throw a blanket and a pillow in.
Lions club have breakfast and lunch covered for both days.

Just a great opportunity to Join the club and catch up with some old dreamers 8)

Even if you cant saddle up,,,,
Come for a we drive and join up,,,,see you there :)

VTR event number 1.

Even with the change of venue , in my opinion the event was resounding success.

Following a very large rain event on Friday , the riding conditions on Saturday were almost perfect on a well set sprint style course which held up really well. The first 5 or 6 loops were just gold .

The grass track section immediately after the wooded section was absolutely cranking with unbelievable drive given by the very damp /dense grass cover on the course.
The old MX track even had grass on the burmed sections which made for very sure feet through those sections and the wooded sections at the back of the course were revised in parts which made it flow really well.

Not sure how many riders were there , but it seemed like a lot.

Thanks to the lads who helped me do a last minute rear tube change at 4.15 PM on the mighty green 390 auto and most importantly Dennis/Greg for allowing me the last  lap on Saturday afternoon , "that was sensational"

Many Thanks to the  team at VTR  , We look forward to your next event.

Cheers

  Yep ,
great   course  ,  with     some very muddy sections around parts of  the loop for  the first  few laps  on     Saturday   but   drier  lines  through  most  of it  by mid  afternoon .

  Enjoyed every lap. :)

Many  thanks to VTR blokes for the huge effort involved  .

    Regards ,
                   Steve
