the twin leader is the clue, even a recosmeticed 82 probably wouldn't have a twin leader fitted.

its an 83 milker!

husqvarnaparts.com has a eng / frame no model id page. check that out for clear id. better yet here they are...82 frame is wn, 83 is wo...other no is the start e/n sequence

Mate it's not my 430 to start with :)

And it's a fair bit worse than that one.  I've never seen anyone weld a piece of 25mm square box to the kick starter before .. and I've never seen anyone make a side panel out of half the original plus about 4-5 kgs of fibreglass that comprised the whole top half of the side panel (exhaust side of course) .. I wish I had a picture to show you ..... it really is that ugly.

 Currently working on an 83 cr500 husky and have purchased quality plastics as well as other parts from Mick at Prime 8 Racing. Great to deal with.
