Not 20, no

Just a pleasant 27 and no humidity.

DJ I DON'T miss the weather!

So DJ, is this normal? Is this a regular winter in your part of the island?

Hell no wombat, I live on the coast. This is 1 hours drive north and inland. Its up by the central plateau, where the mountains are. But this weekend has been cold and this is what was on the drive to work. I'm working in Taihape which is on state highway 1, about 1hr 15mins away from where I live. The mountain region gets snow through the winter but this was fairly heavy.

The hills around the area

The desert rd was closed today. The pictures are taken 5mins north of Taihape and the last picture is looking south, but wouldnt you just love to have a play on your bike in those hills??  ;D

Hmmmm... well, I think it's about 8 or so here right now, and tomorrow's max is predicted to be 9. But no lovely white snow, just rain...

Looks brilliant DJ.

I'm thinking the NZ Tourism mob should hire you to do their promos, DJ.
Your regular 'golf course' MX photos and these shots are postcard quality; it all looks sooo pretty.

Note to self: When I become Dictator the first place to invade is... New Zealand!

I think NZ winters are prettier than Queensland winters but it's not all beer and skittles up here either - last night I had to put on a jumper. :( >:(
...but that's winter so I know what ya mean about toughin' it!

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
