the track was Lonsdale. (Mini Trail Club)
Next to the Lonsdale dump. It was the Mini Trail Club Track.
If I stood in the same place and took a photo today, you would see the Lonsdale Freeway in the background.

I'll say Andy Hayden. It's not Willoughby or Wigzell, they were racing CR250's in '79 so count them out.

I have been trying to tempt MIKE LANDMAN into some VMX over the past few years as he is still very fit and still heavily involved in MX . I think he will give in soon! Be good to get him back in the saddle..
  As long as his back holds together after his reco a few years back..  :-\

I am not yet a grandfather.  ;) Just getting older and grumpier. Actually I was interested to see the correct answers ,but did think after 4+ days you might have supplied them. :-*
