Whats with the headlight requirement if no rego required? I read somewhere they don't even need to work. Can someone elaborate on this puzzle?

Hi Mike Just to clear it for you..

The Head Light thing is Try bring  Back The Feel and Nostalria of Enduro Bikes and Trail Bike Back in the Day..

So what I am trying to Say is .
That we dont want the Bikes  to Just LOOK Like Motor-cross Bikes Rideing in the Bush...
But Motor-crosss bikes are Wecome to but need a Headlight and be WELL MUFFIED.

We want the Bike to  LOOK like Enduro Bikes like what you would at a ISDE back in the Day .

We would  like the head light to Look Like a Head light off a Bike back in the day and YES IT DOSE NOT NEED TO WORK ..

A tail light is not required, but is encouraged and YES IT DOSE NOT NEED TO WORK ..

Also One More Big thing is that   All bikes must be  WELL MUFFIED .

We need to keep the Noise Down so not to annoy any near By  Houses or Farmers  We Do want to be wecome Back ..

So I hope this clears it up . We Not Have many Rules But this is 2 of them..

We want to keep Vinduro Fun and Layed Back and a Good Ride .. on your OLD BIKE ...
Hope to see you at a Vinduro soon.

   Dennis Oz555ktm  Heaven Vinduro

Thanks for that info. Appreciate it. It was confusing and I kind of understand but all pre 85's look good with or without lights and certainly look like they are from the era. I have a PE175 with just a plate on front (dirt track) but I have the light for it so no problem strapping it on. Hope to join you all at some stage.

  All Good Mike .

That PE  is a Great Bike to Ride a Vinduro .
I do hope your bike has a  standed pipe ( No Down Pipe ) you said you dirt track her ..
and you may have to gear the PE up to Make it ezyer to  get  around the Loop ...
You should try and get to a Vinduro you get a Lot of riding if you want too.
aroud 6 hours on saturday and 5 to 6 on the sunday if you want..

And Yes we would Love to see you a Vinduro Soon.

  Dennis
