It was great to catch up with Ted Goddard at Broadford Bonanza.......He was presented with a Legend of Motorcycling award, which was well deserved........I met him firstly in 1972 when racing at Griffith....He welded an exhaust pipe for my mate Ray Cansdell at his factory and let us leave the trailer there overnight.......A young fella was running around the factory checking out our bikes.........Peter was 8 at the time.........2 Legends with Alvin, 42 years later !!

Jeez Dave, your not having much luck with the old girl.

I know how it feels, I fried the old 400 last weekend, same result.  >:(

What a bugger Dave. Hope you get it sorted. I was watching your first ride after lunch and then
it all went kaput. It was great to meet you and Mia. Come back next year and have another go.
Apart from the SC causing  grief I hope you had a good time. The Bonanza is a top event.
Regards   Mark
