Rt2MX and DT2MX starting to come together

Well after many years of wanting and searching they are coming together . Thanks to all who have helped over the years . Iain

Yes Mark , I will not have them finished in time so I think it will be a RT1 , 73 MX360 and a 77 YZ400 plus a little dt100 with rego as a pit bike because my legs were killing me after last year . Iain

Has anyone got a photo of the exhaust mount half way down the pipe that mounts to the frame , missing this bit on both bikes . Iain

My old tradesman said if it will not fit get a bigger hammer . No I had been reshaping the original bash plate 42 years of dents . Iain

Yep. you would need a hammer like that for one of those bash plates....that's when they made bash plates properly!

Hi Red , got the tank of some bloke in the U.S. another Yamaha tragic . Im in two minds about it one side says do the whole bike black, tank, side covers and guards. But the conservative side of me says stock colours . As Ive been typing this Ive decided to go with both I have a spare tank and plastic set . I'll post photos of both once Ive finished . Iain
