Was a great day Popeye, with some 70 plus riders. A good turnout. Plenty of new guys on pre 90 bikes I noticed.  Only 4 chairs I think.

Biggest disappointment was the flag marshals not showing up so for some reason, even though there were volunteer marshalls sourced that allowed us to ride out on the course, the event will not count towards the club championships??  I'm not sure why but I'm sure someone else will know and inform me :)

We arrived Saturday and it was a dust bowl but some overnight rain helped settle that for the best part of the morning, however in the afternoon it got so bad if you didn't get the holeshot then you really had to back off as you were riding completely blind.  Even riding around in 2nd - 5th you just couldn't see the track. I've never seen it so dry up there though ... unbelieveably dry.

I didn't ride the 3rd leg of my races as it was just too dusty so I packed up early and I noticed that so did most others.  I saw one heat with one bike in it .. looked around and sure enough the pits were half empty.

Anyway a good days riding with no serious injuries although one bike did snap in half on one of the two massive G-Outs on the track .. I think it was an RM370 that tore apart just under the engine.
