Dido Doc, I came looking to meet you twice, lights were on but no one home.
I spyed two beautiful pristine RL's, so figured this was your place ;D

What a great friendly bunch of blokes the QLD VMX rank and file clubies are.
Saturday night, I did NSW proud in the drinking stakes, You would be proud Teddles.
Last man standing ;D Although when I staggered home I did hear someone up taking a leak.

Huge effort 8) a big thank you all that got it together and to the physical hard working lot that made it happen, right down to the guy who wore a set of ride-on mower blades out, dead set Champion ;) and their women and families who pitched in, even kept the toilets and showers clean supplied and serviced with a smile. I met so many hard working people including two of the loveliest laddies when a python threatened the amenities block ;D ;D The local community for their support great tucker.

What a killer complex, Truely world class.
Davey Crocket showed and explained the Conondale Classic track layout to me, of the joining of the pre78 and Main track together, Do your self's a favor, plan now, don't miss it, get there early so you can catch your breath and get in the groove. Many thanks to all. :-* ;D

Many thanks to the teams at VMX magazine and QVMX for putting on another fabulous event.

We appreciate the amount of effort the QVMX team put into this fabulous event , which in my opinion , is most probably one of the best venues in Australia.

Most importantly thanks to the supporters of the VMX movement , "Riders and restorers" Australia wide who travelled from far and wide to attend this fabulous event.

Just got back to my desk after one of the best Classic Dirt events of all time.

Had a great weekend. Thanks to all the QVMX guys and gals [for their huge efforts] and to all the punters that showed up and confirmed that Vintage Motocross is one of the great pass times.

Thanks to all the sponsors: Yamaha Australia, Engineered Environments, Shannons, Queensland Electrical and the others who have escaped my ever aging brain at present.

It is always fantastic to catch up with so many familiar faces and to meet new ones.

But next year I won't content to be welded to VMX Central - I have to have a bike to get out onto that fantastic dirt track.

Congrats to all involved!!!

Great pics. Who owns the RM465?

I did the tank on that one.
Let's face it some dirt bikes were never meant to be ridden.

Great Weekend,
just the right amount of moisture,
Enduro track was as black as without being greasy,
Grass track was a hoot,
Pre 78 Track easy and big track late Sunday afternoon was perfect.
and the showers were HOT.
Posted some photos on facebook.
French colours SWM, easily the prettiest bike there!
and Yamaha allocated time to the workers to ride their Bikes late Sunday afternoon.
Big Thanks to all the workers, well done!

Yes, back yesterday from CD10 as well.

On behalf of VMX Magazine, I'd like to thank Sunshine Coast MCC and all their workers for the huge effort they put in to bring Classic Dirt back from the brink.  Also our sponsors, without whom the event just would not happen, Yamaha, Shannons Insurance, Engineered Environments, Queensland Electrical, F1 Finance & Lease.

Also thanks to the guys that ran Trade Stands, you added colour and professionalism to the event.

Thanks also to the legends that came along and impressed us with their non diminished speed and style.

And of course big thanks to all those that came along and supported the event with their attendance.  With just short of 400 riders, the event was viable and hopefully a sign that bigger things may be possible - assuming of course that CD11 goes ahead!  However, at this stage the signs are good, so fingers crossed  ;)

Yes, as an average punter,  thank you for putting on a great weekend.

I don't suppose there is anyway that we could have three days of ridding at the next one?
If not? How about four :) ;D
