Keep on the main jet Nathan. They do run tight trail times at the A4DE. Heaps of time can be lost, or gained, on the trail sections. Ya going well mate.

Yoda Morris was spot on. Or it might just be all the pain killers. Either way. :)

Job jobbed. Far more sense of accomplishment than after 2012, despite the worse results.

Time for a shower. And a beer - a gallon of beer.

Good effort Nathan, well done.

The downside of conventional forks is that they will stick in ruts and this is compounded because hardly anyone uses conventional forks so the 'fork ruts' don't get created.

The results talk of laps, was it multiple laps of the same course or was it more varied?

Did they still give out a Bronze for finishing or just pat you on the back?

And lastly, did you have the oldest bike?

is that "flea" Fleming on pole for the Masters????? again ::)

He was a Clubman in the 200 class in 86 as was I
I was wondering at the time why I couldn't get anywhere near him
Turns out he was talented

Definitely the oldest bike there. A couple of people suggested it may have been the oldest bike to finish an A4DE, but nobody seemed sure.

A bloke called Mick Turnbull (ex-Oyster Bay, now Gippsland based) was on a 94 TM125. He was quick too. These were the only two bikes with RWU forks

The next oldest bikes were a mid-00s WRF and KTM.

Days 1 & 3 were basically the same ~220km lap as each other, but Day 3 had the shittier bits taken out and replaced by simpler stuff.
Day 2 was a shorter, simpler lap that we did in the morning and then a variation of in the afternoon. 250km all up (~125km each lap).

The trail section on Day 0 was basically reversed to be the trail for Day 4.

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Yeah, I saw that too, but its not correct.
He rode it in the 1994 Four Day, and dragged it back out for its 20th anniversary.

He's got two of them - this is his original one from 1994 that is about to be retired from active duty, and a parts/project bike that he's going to fix up & ride when the original bike is retired.
