Loaded the Husky up and set out of the vinduro on Saturday morning. Made it just to northern outskirts of Brisbane before car stated pissing water out of of the radiator. :o  Headed back home. Appears to be a cracked plastic water box so will need new radiator. At least it happened fairly close to home and didn't need towing or root the engine. Need it fixed before Post Classic Nats! Seems I just wasn't meant to get to Vinduro Sprint this year  :( Fail  :-\ :'(

How good was that  ;D anyone can ride a dry track, but when it rains the fun begins. There was one section about 1klm from the finish line that was super slippery being a down hill with a sharp RH just before the creek and if you had the wrong line  you were in deep shit  ;)   Never heard one complaint on how wet or slippery it was just plenty of smiles all round .
Not too sure what NSR ( Noel )  was up to,  each lap he either had the from tyre off or adding more air ::) come to think was this some sort of ploy to put me off  :)
Thanks to all that made this event happen. I will be back

A great event, thanks go to Noel, Jeff, Chris, Belly, Alisha (sorry if spelt wrong) And the rest of the organisers and sweep riders etc.  It was an awesome event and a great time had by everyone i spoke to regardless of the weather .... But even that added another element to the event.

Must say the bang for buck from these vinduro events is fantastic ...

Ill be back for sure :)

Had a ball  ;D but must admit I've got to polish up on my ice skating skill as I was slip sliding everywhere and just couldn't get enough momentum to get up a couple of those slippery off cambered hills.
Gotta luv play'in in the mud.
Where is the next one on at.... ;D

I had a fantastic weekend, many thanks to the Sunshine Coast MC for another great event. There seems to be a small core body of workers that are there at each event I've attended and I am very greatful that they give up their time so we (I) can have a good time. Thank you.

The track was superb on Saturday, lots of traction, no dust and some lovely fast sections. It was a little slicker on race day and some sections of the track were removed to allow a good flowing sprint. Great organisation and a nice laid back vibe.....can you get any better?

The only item on my wish list is that more NSW vinduro riders didn't make the trip up  there and support the event. I'm daring to dream here but wouldn't it be fantastic to have the East Coast Series reborn?
