Count me in for 2 sets of yellow YZ250C guards.

Edit - that's on top of the H plastics for the whole series I have already asked for  ;)

on the topic of pre~75 front guards,
AMS do a nice YZa/b front in yellow or white but not the silver [on right side of pic].
can't talk for the yellow but i've been running the white front on two of my bikes and i love em.
but i could always do with more ;D

Vandy thats all good for racing and I dont doubt that you have had good experiences with AMS, but I have to say that maier reproduction plastics arent in the same ballpark as your own countrymans' (Scott Wilson) VMX Plastics, and I say that because of not only the quality of the plastic but the look and shape of the products he makes. It is exactly the same as yamaha themselves. No more do we yamaha folk have to put up with after-market plastic being the wrong shape, the wrong colour, the wrong gloss level and the wrong look in general.
Here is a bloke that is now producing plastics for yamahas that (you/or anyone) would be very hard pressed to tell the difference between genuine NOS Yamaha plastics and VMX Plastics. I wouldnt hesitate in recommending them to anyone and that would include the most anal of concourse restorers whos bikes only ever get close to dirt is when the maid cleans the fireplace out.

Brings about a dilemna though.  Does a man wait for plastics that may not be made or buy the crap ones.  Hope I'm not hijacking - I imagine others on here are in the same situation  ::)

That would be the "HMS Waiting" boat Tony and I'm sitting at the bar enjoying a cold one, best ya join me. Lets hope that we dont have to wait long but if we do Im sure the wait will be worth it and if the boat never comes in, will, as the old saying goes, "ride what you have", or at least invest in beer bottle glasses as they always paint a rosy picture.  ;)  ;D

Gee, talk about impatient. Da Man is just doing his market research and said he's gonna do a matrix, presumablly to work out a cost/profit ratio/break even point. Give Da Man a break :P.

I think you can judge the man by his product in this case ;). If Scott make the undertaking I'll bet you see them in quick order, no excuses and a NOS quality product ;) :). For our skae, let's hope the nmbers add up.

Yeah I know all that and I'm certainly not questioning his product, or his commitment (or his parentage ;D)
Yes, I probably am being impatient as my resto is close to completion apart from the obvious sidecovers.  There's also a certain new number plate that I'd like to replace, but I dare not mention that.
I'd be prepared to buy double the quantity of VMX plastic if it made a difference ::).

Anyway - I'm off to the bar on the "HMS Waiting".  I think DJ said he was shouting  ;D ;D ;)
