Ron Lechien didn't ride kawasaki's until '86
Jeff Ward rode 125's in '84
Kent Howerton rode 250's in '84

ok this has been good got the kawa forum going
the bike is kent howertons he had two of them
he still owns one the other is
here in australia
he raced the bike in the usgp
very nice bike all hand made
worth more than a maico ;D

Doh! I knew that I had seen that bike before . It is pictured on pages 136 & 137 of Ray Ryan's " Motocross Racers " book. Holeshot's description was inaccurate though because it is actually an '83 SR500, not an '84.
