BSA B50

Whats a good one worth and does anyone have one for sale?
Current bikes. KTM MC 250 77 Husky CR 360 77, Husky 82 420 Auto Bitsa XR 200 project. Dont need a pickle just need to ride my motorcickle

BSA B50 you will pay between $6500 to $8500  for a good one.

About the same for a BSA B50 too ;)


Sorry Dave :D        Wondering if BSA did ever make a 50cc? 0r were the Bantams the smallest.

They did make a kids 50cc rev and go right towards the end.

Mate has a B50 (I think it's a T) and a 75CCM that will be for sale shortly.  No idea of spec, condition etc, but definitely for sale.  In the UK, but can ship no problem

hi mick 'slakewell' yrs ago an inverell vmx meet was canned the track near town was washed out,we all headed out to copeton dam
track for a ride/race .  barry? patterson- lismore guy?  let a few of us ride his beautiful B50 mx, what an impressive machine,did you ride it ,have you ridden one? why a B50?               cheers grant

If you get the chance to ride a well set up B50, that will be the end of you, you won`t want anything else.

You should get one landed here for around 5k-6k. I've seen a couple come into the country for under 5k in the last year.

Up for auction is a super clean BSA 500MX. It is a very low hour bike that runs perfectly. The engine appears to have never been touched and it is still wearing it's original Dunlop tires. The only modifications are Preston Petty fenders and Uni levers that were installed when the bike was new. The clear coating is coming off the rear hub and there are a few minor scratches. Please look at the pictures to see how truly nice this bike is. I doubt there is one with lower time for sale right now. The bike is 100% ready to ride with fresh oils and a clean air filter. The engine and frame numbers match along with the original vin sticker. I can have the bike delivered free of charge to Las Vegas or any where along 287 to Amarillo or I40 to Kingman Az. The truck will be leaving 1-7-14 from Dallas and will be going non stop to Las Vegas. You must be able to meet on the highway whenever the truck comes through no exceptions. Firko this is for my mate who lives at Brookvale who already has an unbelievable collection he was interested in the one on ebay but thought he see if there is a local one. The Ebay is on the money you think?

You got that right Dave. They are such a fun bike to ride. The power is so smooth but they go like the clappers when you twist the right hand  ;D

Yeah Mick, the yellow one on eBay is on the low side moneywise at the moment but it hasn't reached reserve and there are 13 bids so far. I predict it'll fly off the page. There was a very clean B50 one on vft.org a couple of months ago for under 3k.

Barry was/is a great bloke who had to cut his VMX activities short because of back problems. He had an interesting trade as a copper shingle roof restorer, doing old churches and stately mansions. You'd think there wasn't much of that kind of work but I remember him telling me he was the only bloke in Oz doing it and that he was booked out for the next couple of years. I rode his B50 at Dargle and it shocked me just how quick it was. It was decidedly quicker than Jonesy's CCM. Off memory it was a US import and had a 580 kit, Carillo rod, JE or Venolia piston and Megacycle flat track cam. It had Ceriani forks as well, a really well set up bike, later owned by Gavin Martini and it's now possibly living in NZ.
