I had a profab for a while, nice bike. It was the one originally built up by Lindsay Hannington from Two Wheels.
Graeme are you suggesting a pro fab is best kept as an original, or that they lack something for racing?

With the crap Yam C splined footpeg mounts that a Steve Gall / Beetle Bailey / Dean Burt would put under sever pressure

He fixed the ProFabs footpeg mounts and some other little things
But more importantly they are fresh not 30 yo
I did not mean to hijack this thread and I hope the Canadian bike sells for exactly what it's owner wants, for they helped wake up the sleeping Japanese Giants, pity it took them so long to give us what we wanted.
