no the tunnel is narrow and the tank is not long enough . sell the yza tank and buy 2 or 3 sc tanks . Iain

I have fitted a YZ125A tank onto a MX360A which is the same as a SC500, used straps the same as original, looked a bit funny because the tank is quite small and short compared to the std tanks. Got paid to do it so no skin off my nose.

I see, hoping to have a sc in my garage soon, just wondering how the 125 tank might look. seems like too small, but thanks for answering

i have a genuine SC500 tank, consider swapping for the 125A tank.  Also would have one that yellow and minus the decals. and probally some YZC alloy tyanks that would also fit.

dont be wrecking a decent YZ125 take for some abbonimation.   IF its the tank of the bike i bought from you im happy to do a deal to get it back.

Gday Kerry,

I did not end up buying the SC500 till now, still considering... I would not cut or push or pull the Yz "A" Tank as it still has factory paint on it and i wish to build a nice YZ A one day in the theme of being not restored. But thanks for the offer anyway.

I heard you had a bit of an off a while back, I am happy to hear you are back on board to what sounds like 90%. I know that YZ A deal was a bit of a rocky road and will not forget it. I have sold a lot of bikes and cars over the years with very few issues, I still do take on board where i could have improved the communication.

OK well I have 500s and id have a tank in silver or yellow A, which I would rather swap fort a A tank than as you say see it messed about with.

more like 10% but getting there.  I will be selling off some of the 125A I have also so if you doing a project I can fish one out, the one with the cracked frame was rewelded so all good, you can even have buy that one.
