Don't ask me how to ride a bike or change a gear. I have sat on a couple but never ridden one. My adrenalin rush came from taking photos of the guys/gals racing them up close and personal.

Firko as you probably know Ross sold his business (Off Road Imports) to a long standing employee (Rick Andrews Son) a few years ago now.  I worked with both Brian and Ross for a few years in the early seventys. Since then I have crossed paths with Ross some how or other every five or ten years either via the electric telephone or in person. Whilst I have not had any contact with Brian for approx 35 yrs it was good to catch up with both of them for a yarn at last years round of Aust Moto GP. Brian had ridden (VFR800)from Adelaide where he now lives (and has done for a long time) and is in the finance caper of some sort and Ross had ridden (BMW K1300)from Sydney. Ross enjoying retirement and Brian enjoying what ever he does in the finance game. Neither has changed a bit.

Yamaha. A lot of us used Yamaha hubs on our Maicos back in the day. My Maico's 19" dirt track wheel has a Yammy hub today.

Great ad! Pretty sure it didn't need an ad agency to work it out - just someone who knows their customers.

I was thinking the same. Scasey has mixed with advertising types his whole adult life and in fact was in the game himself for a long time. This ad has the late Michael Robinsons DNA all over it though.

Not sure who this is?    Stephen Gall negotiating the water jump at Amaroo Park 1976. Another Annandale/Leichardt club member

In the photos in reply #46, I guess the guy on the Husky couldn't afford a kidney belt so had to put duct tape around his guts.

OK some action shots from the April 1977 MR MX meet

Unless you have a 1976 Mr MX program two of these rider you may not know. #10 is doing what he does best and #50 has just had a video of himself placed on OZVMX. All these pics have NEVER seen the light of day since I took them...to many years ago
What more can I say except ...ENJOY
Hi Peter,
I've started a Mr Motocross fans page on Facebook. Is it OK if I post these pics into it mate?
