Firco, I remember that as well as Jilliby had a jump coming out of the dam just before the finish line. Will have to dig up the pics from Jilliby as I think I may have that shot. Jilliby was one of my favourite tracks and had a bit of everything.

This pic was taken at the 1975 International meet at Amaroo Park in November in which Gaston Rahier attended. #B on a Suzuki I think it was one of Gaston’s buddies from Belgium but not sure so if someone has a program from that meet would love a copy of the riders list as I have about 10 rolls of negs to name.

This is Ozuki? the Jap that came out with Rahier & Camel

He was listed as 'O' in the Wallan program but that shot is not from Wallan. Is it Amaroo or Qld and did he change numbers (letters)? He sort of looks Japanese though! J

It looks like it could be the Australian title meeting in Tasmania, in 75 it was a sandy track.

Hi Jerry.
Thanks for the link but alas the numbers they used in NSW are different but it may help a bit. Not sure if the Japanese guy rode in NSW.
I took 138 pics at that meet so will scan some more and put them up.
Don't ask me how to ride a bike or change a gear. I have sat on a couple but never ridden one. My adrenalin rush came from taking photos of the guys/gals racing them up close and personal.

Here is another. Bike #N71 where the "N" could mean Nippon or Japanese not sure.

Probably the last race of the day. Always like B&W photos and this pic gets the meaning of Motocross across in one photo.

;D ;D I made a big mistake in momentarily forgetting recent history and actually trying to argue the point with him. Stupid, stupid, stupid me........My bad >:( >:(.

However.. Peters little rays of photographic sunshine have given us a great distraction from the Prophet of Doom. Keep them coming Peter.
