I have bought from Maxwell Motorsports about 3 or 4 times. Each time it was a DG pipe or muffler.

I havent yet ever had an issue with him. He has always delivered on time and the correct item, although the last muffler I got wasnt exactly packaged well. Thankfully it wasnt damaged.

I guess reading this thread he isnt the best seller/dealer, but just wanted to share the fact that I havent had any issues with this seller.

 :)

I have bought from Maxwell's IT plastic kits they were cheaper than USA
and received them in a week .
They were not a very a good fit but that's not his fault he only sells them...

Ive had both experiences with them. I purchased a pipe and muffler and received them in a week. I also rang and asked if they had a mudgaurd in stock and was told yes and they could post it that day. Short version is I did get the guard some 3 months later and long after DC had sent me one from the states.
I wont use them again unless I have to.

yeah - that's a point - didn't know it was now Maxwell but so often when I go on there looking for stuff it is out of stock.  Makes you feel like they only order on an as required basis - and since a lot of their stuff comes from known suppliers maybe you should go there in the first place????  Not good for making one support Australian businesses.

How sad is that, the best (by far) business in the industry being taken over by the worst!! Im surprised Les even passed it on to someone with such a poor reputation given how hard he worked upkeep his own. Oh well, nice guys really do always finish last don't though  :-X

What an absolute load of bullshit. Maxwell is not the new VMX Unlimited. Yeah he bought some stuff off Les, but so did another guy. The other guy is Prime8Racing situated in Newcastle N.S.W.

Prime8Racing have just opened a factory in Newcastle and can supply parts for all vintage bikes. He also sells vintage bikes and does full restorations to clients needs. They also put back into the sport, unlike Maxwell, being the major sponsor and supplier to the fastest growing vintage club in Australia, vTr. and is also a sponsor of the Conondale Classic.

Maxwell gets there eventually ;D, I have had mixed results with some parts arriving quick and others I believe not even sent till I ring up weeks later ..........then take weeks to arrive, I buy with Paypal through his ebay store so stuff is covered but still a pain with the hit & miss service.
