John Dowd is a machine
48 yrs young and hauling , Josh Coppins rode the wheels off a std looking CR 250 against the trick 500s 0f the other fast guys . Jean Michelle Bayle still has the magic that he had in the day , he holeshot a couple of races but dropped back a few places after a couple of laps . Apparently he had not ridden a 500cc 2 stroke for 25 yrs but you would never know, he was riding different lines to everyone else .
Overall the pace seemed even faster than it did a couple of years ago and the track was incredibly rough by the Sunday, the Pom Brian Wheeler really rode the race of his life in the final evo race and would have probably won if he didn't get bogged by lappers on the last lap .
I went to the modern MXGP while i was in the UK and in comparison to Farliegh it was an expensive bore fest
people will say im biased as i live in the past but he reality is the racing was way better at Farliegh in all classes .
