Psst . I think it's a Corvette )

The unfortunate car is a Corvette and the bike is a Triumph Thunderbird.
Absolutely right gentlemen.....my head said Corvette but my fingers typed Camaro...another old bloke moment ;D.

The bloke on the overweight Triumph is still a wanker though ;).

I still think it's dodgey.  ;)
Too much of the debris looks like it's been dropped in afterwards. Particularly the big black bit just in front of the red bag and the red bit to the left of that.
No shadows that I can see of the debris.
In the reflection in the car the rider has his arms way up above his head, but he's got them sticking straight out in front of him.
There's a silver pole or something in the reflection as well that isn't there.
For the rider's sake, I hope I'm right....  :D

Edit: For the whole panel to be torn off, there's doesn't seem to be enough debris, either.

Can't throw a fully loaded tank around no matter where you are.
Top boxes fully loaded hanging out over the back of the bike is the last thing a pregnant tourer needs.
Having done a lot of miles over the years on a FXR harley with other blokes on all types of big roadies it always amazed me that a lot of blokes don't put all their concentration into the task at hand, RIDING THE BIKE, and the result is often just like in the photos.  :o
If at first you don't succeed, lower your standards.

This is what Keith Code calls a survival reaction. Straighten up and apply brakes. Keith would suggest to keep it cranked over, some applied throttle and let the sparks fly.
