pre 90 250
« on: August 02, 2013, 04:08:29 pm »
Hi everyone,

Being a young fella Im interested in having a pre 90 bike and might start in some pre 90 races.

But all I need is a bike! Looking for a japanese 250 either 88 or 89 models. Depending on the condition I'll make and offer or negotiate with you on a price.

thanks Carl.

Wow, pre "90 could be good for me [in nz as heard it'll be implemented for next vmx series?] anyway--opens up a whole new debate about 'flow on models' [does it]. I have a couple of 'rat bike' RMX250's, one supposedly "92 & other is thought to be earlier. Both look identical to any "89's i can find in google images so there it is [can i or can't i] . Just remembered i have an "89 RM125 roller with what looks to be a 'well done' PE175 cradle conversion on it [no motor] & have an IT250K motor [damn things has a broken cylinder flange but] i feel another project coming on that i hadn't thought of. And another thing--does an IT250K [motor only] fit into pre "81 as is air cooled & just a YZ250H type motor, H being "81 but allowed in pre "81 i think---i dunno. getting too complicated--sorry. Cheers.
