I dropped a subtle hint about the originality of this bike when I dragged up the old post from 2010,If you didn't get it read Wayne's first "for sale" post from then,He tells us that the frame has been put back to original as it was LTR'ed back in the day as was the hot setup for the time,I seen this bike at HBBB before the repairs were done,This was no simple conversion,the diagonal rail running from the seat mounts to the footpeg bracket had been given a major cut & shut, moving the shock mount to about half way between,The repair job looks to be well done,but the seat,pipe, swingarm & sidecovers were also modified & have not been put back to original by the looks,The pipe sticks up way too high,the seat has chunks missing from both sides at the rear mounts & the swingarm has strengthening ribs welded on top,I am assuming the side panels are repo's,Also take a look at the fork lowers,They have been lightly turned down in a lathe for lightness/trickness,So I would not call this bike original or a good basis for a garage queen,It still looks OK though,BTW,last time this bike was advertised I sent Wayne an email enquiring on the price he replied "ozvmx told me it was worth in between 5 & 10K depending on condition & I have had offers in that range"
