I bought a new 82 PE and had Mr Mc Hanic give it a spruce up. he did timing, straight cored the muffler and rejetted to RM specs and it was transformed...
unfortunately he had a few dull "lads" in the workshop and one decided to kick the bike over with the flywheel puller bolted in and it destroyed the coils.
I didn't get it back until the nite before the Nowingee desert race near Hattah.
it started over a 1 KM salt flat and I got the holeshot like I couldn't believe. I was so chuffed I missed the first turn and went from 1st to last
