Bellini engines from Italy for speedway and longtrack yes, I know them, but a Bellini frame is new for me.
Can you tell me more about this frame.

Bennie, the Bellini frame Jim has , came from me and I obtained it from Kevin McDonald, who's company, McDonald Motorcycles, was the major OZ east coast importer of Dirt Track, Longtrack and Speedway gear.
I'll be speaking to Kevin in the next day or so and I will ask him about the Bellini.
I think Jim has found some info and some pix of the frame on the net.

That Bellini is the only one I've ever seen...I doubt Kevin would have imported too many. I've seen it up close and it's a nice thing.

I spoke to Kevin today about the Bellini frame Jim has, he told me that he saw it in a magazine or brochure in the period 1975/80, around the time Glenn was riding in England, had one sent over from the Bellini factory, he said that it was dearer than comparable frames on offer at the time and was a bit heavier, particularly the swinging arm, but all in all, a robust design.
Kevin wasn't sure if the Bellini factory built the frames or farmed the job out.

It was the only one he imported and  Kevin knows of no other in Australia.
So,Jim, a rare bit of kit, it seems !!

There you go Jimbo, Robust, perfect for you mate.
Looks like it was built for Teterow, an OZ one off, great score.
Don't sell the bastard either before or after you finish it.
