CCM Gossip
« on: May 11, 2013, 12:03:05 pm »
Which well known collector/racer/forum member and all round good bloke has achieved the almost impossible by managing to wangle a CCM out of one of the sports more colourful collector racers? ::) The CCM is totally new ground to our intrepid hero but one thing is for certain, the bike is in good hands and will be as neat as a pin once he's restored it. 8)

I've been mates with the seller for 25 years and this is the first time I've seen him sell a bike since his wife sold his Alron from under him while he was at work 20 years ago ;D.

Ben

currently husky forks with all the husky casting marks and name machined off.

Send us a PM if you would like te sell the fork set and we will consider it in our resto budget. We plan on a race resto and not so much a concourse resto

It's not the prettiest C&J on Planet Earth but it'll look much nicer once it's been "prettified" 8) The aim is for a Bill Bell Honda style look.

Straighten the silencer ,loose the MR tank , fit a 79 CR250 tank, fit a preston petty headlight  and that would be even more sensational

I think Sudman's genuine Bill Bell bike is close to what Alan's aiming for.
