So this afternoon I received a call from our Local Disaster Coordination Leader asking if I'm available to work this weekend as they are expecting a massive rain event on the Sunshine Coast this weekend (to be confirmed by BOM tomorrow apparently) .

Told him I had other plans but I hope it turns out to be a false alarm ... just got the Evo 250 ready to chase the young blokes around (Carl and Lochie Fox in his debut VMX ride) and am looking forward to taking them out .. errr trying to keep up  .

Property owner said they have only had 2mms of rain in the past three days and will handle alot more rain.

So hopefully that rain front is not as bad as they think it will be.

Wow only 2mm ... we've had inches here on the Sunny Wet Coast. Hope it stays dry up there

Mate come to Coles creek Sunday , not sure when the track was slashed but the side car boys always have fun there. Looking forward to it, taking two green and two red ones !

Spoke to property owner they got 12 mms of rain today.

Access road still firm. Looking at BOM, the majority of the downpour will be closer to the coastline on Sat.

We will be up there tomorrow and will let everyone know if anything changes.

That's great news Robo because it's pissed rain here on the Sunshine Coast all freaking day although it's apparently hit and miss insome areas.

Anyway, look forward ot hearing a report tomorrow arvo if you can do that.
