I agree what's been said, but it's not how I've seen the rules interpreted in the past.
He was a dear mate to most of us but Magoo charmed his way through scrutineering many a time with exactly the same combo on his RZ 250. No matter how often he got the tap on the shoulder about the bikes ilegalities he'd he'd reply with a wink, a cheeky smile and a "She'll be right". I wish the bugger was still around to argue the point with me over it
