Cheney seemed to have made a fair few of these-far more than for the Yamaha like mine. The sellere takes a bit of liberty stating
"Have document proof this is the same frame as used on the 73 RN 400 Suzuki works bikes", which is close close but not quite right. In 1969 Olle Petterson was signed by Suzuki to develop their works motocross tackle and while at a meeting in the UK saw Tommy Ledbitter going well on his RH68 engined Cheney. Petterson rode the bike, loved it and armed with Suzuki money bought the bike and shipped it to Japan. The first series of RH & RN 70-74 frames were
copied from the Cheney frame but Cheney didn't build them.
