Yeah good one Ted.Anyone that uses a full force full swing sledgehammer hit on footpegs is an idiot.If you think that then...seriously. I used solid hits(not full swings) on solid mounted frame so it was direct force to peg( not absorbed by suspension) to replicate force on vmx track.Its a vmx/grasstrack for fork sake!! not 60ft jump/dropoffs.Not everyone goes hard or fast,not everyone has the $$ but atleast they are rid'in. One more thing ...keep ya f##kin insults to yourself!!

Old thread Revival!!

Just thought I'd mention that with a very small amount of grinding, I have fitted the OEM pegs off my 2012 YZ450 to my 1990 YZ490.

These OEM pegs also fit:

2007-2015 YZ 125-250cc
2008 - 2014 YZF/WRF 250-450cc

So if you can find a second hand set of these, you can make them fit.
