I reverse all of my Maico front wheels....you have to make up a new stay (or find a Wheelsmith stay like I have) and possibly use a Yamaha cable, depending on the model. It can't be too hard to do it on a Bully surely?

I have thought about reversing the brake on my Mk7/8 for all the same reasons you have said,BUT,I think that when you do this on a Bully the brake arm ends up in a position that doesn't work. Jerry if you can get it to work,we will all definately copy it!

I used to run the reverse brake mod on my Bultaco Hill Climber in the 70's. It worked well when you started rolling backwards.

You'd have to relocate the bolt on the brake plate for the stay arm to a diff position

Ok preliminary report. Changed the fork legs over (looks better already) have to fabricate a new brake stay arm and fit cable guide to it ala MK7 et al. Also have to swap over brake shoe pivot pin with brake actuation pin. Bit of machining required but a mate is a toolmaker. I reckon it will work. The cable will then run down the front of the fork the same as Mk7 but think mirror image. Let you know after test ride. Hope it doesn't pull to the left! Oh by the way this is on my MK3 Pursang. If it works out ok I will do my Jim Pomeroy Frontera. J PS will have to work out the "new cable length" hopefully I can get something off the shelf.
