3 round pre 65 race series

Rumour is that there will be a 3 Round "pre65 series" held this year on some off the friendly tracks Heaven uses.
so the search has just moved up a notch

As a keen but outside observer of the VMX scene I have to say that this is the beat news our sport could possibly receive.
Let's start at the grass roots and move forward from there.
Full credit to all involved and if I can put my 2bobs worth in I would suggest that this could/would/should become something like the old US AMA series.
This def has legs.

This little series seems to have stirred some interest. We have been contacted by three people that have recently or are in the process of bring Pre65s back to the track. We really hope that this class gets good support this year.

Sliderulz that sounds like a great idea and if we can get the numbers a series in 2014 would be a perfect way expand Pre65s in NSW

Having just re read my last post the big problem I see with my suggestion is that it's probably not realistic to ride the same bike you'd ride on both MX & DT on a Road Racing circuit.
Maybe we could change it a bit to be MX, DT & Grasstrack, or it could bring a track like Taree into the picture, it's pretty bloody close to a road.
Or, we could make it a 4 round series.
I have no drama's with Roy East's name being involved, he pretty much rode it all.

24/25 Aug      Rd5 / CRC – Pre65 Bulahdelah - Grass Track

12/13 Oct       Rd6 / Canowindra Cup – Pre65 Canowindra - Stadium Grass Track
