Just to be clear, these are the sizes I the leading axle, drum brake Yamaha forks:

DT175N+ = 35mm forks.
XT250K = 35mm forks.

YZ125D, E, F = 36mm forks.
IT125 = 36mm forks.
IT175D, E, F, G, H = 36mm forks.

YZ125G, H, J, K  = 38mm forks.
YZ250+ D, E, F, G = 38mm forks.
IT175J, K = 38mm forks.
IT250/465 H, J = 38mm forks.

YZ125L = 43mm forks.
YZ250/465/490 H, J, K, L = 43mm forks.
IT200L, N = 43mm forks.
IT250/490 K, L, N = 43mm forks.
TT600 K, L = 43mm forks.

I can't remember when the IT250/400/425 and YZ100 each went to 38mm forks, so there's gaps there...

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

you sure the YZ125 L has 43mm forks? i had a look at the seals and they're the same as the 125K,L and N.
i thought the YZ125 didn't go 43mm until the 1986 S model?

plus a few of your list contain brake stays at 3 o'clock rather than 1 o'clock

YZ125L has 43mm forks, no question.

I deliberately didn't touch the angled vs horizontal brake stay, fork length, fork travel, webbed vs smooth, single bolt vs dual bolt vs four bolt axle clamp, or external adjustment vs no external adjustment stuff.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

YZ125K was the last YZ125 to come with 38 mm forks.

Wonder how much more there is in this thread!
