« on: January 03, 2013, 02:08:03 pm »
Here's some progress shots of my Pre-90 Retro beast.

This is how I bought it from Ando back in April....  she needed some TLC back then...    :P

And this is how it looks so far.... I added 2 or 3 new parts...   ;)  almost there!   ;D

It's perfect - don't do a thing. Those lightweight tyres especially - I might be able to beat you if you stick with them!
:D

PS: Nice work.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

That looks incredible! well done to that man. Now we just need to get David McSwain (Vic. No. 1 from around that era ) out of retirement to ride one again...would be good to see him against Dean Burt and others.

Awesome job Hardo, you should try and come to some QVMX events this year...Conondale Classic and Echo Valley.....you wont feel out of place either...theres plenty of "Green" up here...I just scored on my Xmas road-trip a blue front number plate, tank and shrouds off a 89 500....there mint, look like they came off a pretty new Fink bike (got them in Whyalla)....well done again.
QVMX.....Australia's #1 VMX club......leading the way.

Few people have a gift for building bikes that are IMHO 11 out of 10 and Hardo is one of the few  8) The attention to detail is outstanding  :) looks better than they did when new , i had one and it never looked as good as that  :)

Wow... thats a big wrap coming from you mate. Thanks though - I will take the compliment.  ;D

I was going to wait until it was 100% before posting up some pics - but it got the better of me!

TM Bill - I have had your name favourably mentioned to me by a fellow VMX'er here in Sydney and I have a question for you.... PM has been sent.  :)
