Here's some good footage from '88, Shobert V Parker, the prang after the jump in the Peoria TT Steeplechase footage was where Aussie Luke Gough came undone bigtime earlier this year.

I know this has been on here before but you sparked my interest when King Kenny was mentioned.

True Foss, Medina's a very cool track, about as close to out kind of dirt track as you'll get. Interesting that there's no jump, they must have an option, or it might have been dropped from the discipline.

Firko, from what I can gather there are two versions of TT, Steeplechase, with jump and GP, without. I may be wrong , but that seems to be the case. It may be a regional thing.

The Medina track looks fabulous. If it ain't oiled whats keeping the dust down. Nice bit of loose stuff on top as well.

Here's a rough scan of the bike that Barry Briggs rode at the Houston Astrodome indoor short track track back in 1970. To me it looks to be a Jawa long tracker frame with the Yamaha TD2 road race motor. It's weird and a bit rough looking but it must have stirred up the Yanks at the time ;D  Here's a rare film of the racing showing Briggo # 70 at that event. Check out the stars he was up against. http://www.speedwayplus.com/BriggoHouston.shtml

How's that crash at preoria! N0. 55 does well to weave throughout it!

Nudgee TT was good. The set up looked great with a hair pin at the end of the straight into the jump, a 90 degree right hander into a sweeper that linked into pit corner. Whilst Darcy Ward was under gunned on a 250f he was more sideways than anyone and looked like he was having fun. Lets hope we get some more of it in the future.

Meanwhile Action Park Raceway has been completely ripped and turned over and harrowed with a good splattering of oil added, regraded to take out the few low points that held water and is looking to be in great shape for 2013. The hairpin at the end of the sweeper has a larger diameter with a slight camber added which should allow some quicker cornering.
