It'd make life much easier for already overworked organizers if you could call Drakie and do that today instead.

Harrow Vinduro,
My son and I had a great  time, the course was amazing, credit to you drakey and too the others that helped  put it all together, it was wet, wet, very wet, and muddy , but motorcycling is a winter sport, the harrow community did well with the meals on Saturday Night excellent, great little pub too, hospitality is wonderful. Thank you,  see you next year with a new bike. cheers Dave.

Me and my team had a terrific weekend. I think it's safe to say that everyone present enjoyed themselves. Thanks to everyone who made it happen.

What a top event. I'm shattered after a huge weekend (and a big fortnight leading up to it...), but well worth the effort.

Huge, massive thanks to Facthunt for the loan of the mighty IT after my CR and my KTM decided that they hate me... (CR gearbox and head gasket, KTM head gasket and something worse).
Extra thanks to him for not cracking the sheets when I broke it....  :-[

The Wright Motorcycles Team got three Gold medals, and the ACT Trophy Team won the Outright, so that eases the pain.

The rain made it tough - I've ridden events for modern enduro bikes that have been easier... But that just increases the satisfaction level, I reckon - there were plenty of people wearing Bronze Medals and big smiles yesterday afternoon.

Between 3858 and myself, we sponsored three riders in their first ever Vinduros - they've all said "we will be back next year!". This must surely rate as the biggest Vinduro in the country - I'd have to guess that it is the largest in the southern hemisphere?

Oh, and among many highs of the event, the absolute high point for me was catching out a certain Mr Drakeford when he was lost!
There were less reported cases of Harrow Arrow this year, but clearly nobody is immune. :D
And epidemic rather than a pandemic, maybe?

There was a ktm 500 that went into the creek, completely submerged and when it was finely pulled out, first kick it fire up. now that needs a trophy, and many thanks to the sweeper that helped to pull that rider out. a great effort. :D

Arrived just after 2 other riders had dragged him out, the rider of the KTM said he lost his breath the water was so cold. And Dave it was 2 kicks  ;D

That guy was freezing before he went in :o I found the water warmer than the completely soaked, wind chilled state i was in after blasting across the paddocks....

it made no difference in or out of the river... ;D :D.

The greasy logs on the first lap became good traction on the second lap the track was so slippery!!

shades of Foster (Devils Pinch) Enduro in the 80's :D ;)

what a bun fight, how good was it to get up that first hill!

i stalled on lap 2 and every time i kicked the bike it slid further down the hill!

what a great day!

KTM in the creek guy was ozvmx's very own ktm555, aka Dennis.

A great big thank you to all the people who gave so generously of their time to organise the event and proceedings, lay out the course and also to deal with the big clean up. It is easy to forget that a 2 day meeting takes the better part of a week physically onsite to make it happen, and thats apart from the administrative work leading up to the event. Its remarkable that things go as well as they do, but that it does speaks volumes about the doers! Cheers!

The 2 riders were my Glenelg River Ferry Service team mates! They were quite impressed with Dennis' ability to swim underwater in full dirtbike outfit including helmet.

I must say a personal thanks to Lauchie who was on hand with some fencing wire to secure my clutch lever when the pivot bolt disappeared. The fix worked a treat and I left it like that for the rest of the day!

And another thanks to the sweep rider (Mick P?) who found my bum bag and brought it back to the parc ferme.
