Hi Guys
The Scooter News/Dandenong MCC team is now confirmed and official. Riders will be:
1. Steve Davis for Scooter News and regular Viper rider and anything else that involves knobby tyres, on a 1982 PE250
2. Andrew Lambie, regular Scooter News rider and Dandenong MCC Off Road series Over 40s C Grader on a 1980 PE250
3. Aaron Bonfadini, son of the legendary Frank "Bomber" Bonfadini, A grader, riding a RM250D converted for vinduro
This will be our first vinduro and we're looking forward to getting out there and having fun with all you guys.
When you see the Scooter News banner come up and see Jo and sign up to get Scooter News and tell us a bit about your bike.
Steve
Great, bout time you went out riding for a change.
What is the actual format of the day at Castella?
Format is turn up early and check out the other bikes,
Chat to anyone who walks past,
Sit down and have a nap during riders briefing,
Start sweating over wether or not your bike will start for the cold start test,
Head off for a casual lap of a not overly difficult but technical track through the ferns,
Head off for another lap flat out in order to beat the mate that beat you in the first lap,
Stop for a drink and laugh about it with your mate,
Be torn between going out for as many laps as you can or talking to people,
Pack up and head home with a smile on your dial.
