G'day all,

Im sure this great photo has been seen on here before.

I am wondering if anyone knows where it originated from (old magazine?)

I would like to use it in a tshirt design and I dont want to have any copyright hassles in the future, so if I could in some way track down the copyright holder that would get rid of that worry.

Cheers,

Ben

It looks like he's maybe got a Cycle Guide or Cycle World jersey on so it may come from a test of the '77 Can-Am in either of those mags. Cycle World tested the Can-Am MX 3-175 in the July 77 issue.

Good plan. If you sell t-shirts without getting permission to use the image, it can get horribly expensive.  :D

I reckon Firko's on the money. Maybe post this on Mark's Swapmeet as well?

I'd say it's from cycle guide magazine they used that style of writing, CYCLE WORLD used slanted capital letters.

Thanks for the info Firko.

I have sent an email to a couple of blokes who used to edit the mag. I'll have to wait and see what happens.

If I get the go ahead I will put some pictures up of my ideas to get some feedback.

Cheers,

Ben.

I think its Gary Bailey. He won a couple of American national titles and his son rode for Honda America and won many national titles. David Bailey.
