I remember know, I replied to the comment and said that the side covers came with the bike, I didn`t know original owner, as I didn`t buy the bike off the fellow who restored it originally.

Please don't attack me as I'm sincerely just asking... But why does everyone shit can this bloke over buying and selling bikes??? I've done plenty of it and made a tidy profit outta flipping collectable or desirable bikes when I stumble across ones that are not my desired cuppa tea. Is this not ok for some reason?? Or have I missed something obvious about the guy or others peoples dealings with him?? Sincerely...just askin??? And yes I know full well that this particular bike is owned by Drakie and not the subject in question!

Regards, Brendan  :)

Thats part of it. No more should be said on this thread as its destroying a legit thread about a cool bike for sale.
If you're that interested, pm me and when I have a spare hour I can give you the condensed version.

Thanks for all your comments guys, and the sign irony, it tickled my fancy. I'm currently negotiating with a buyer at $13G and if it doesn't go there will be a mint, original OSSA Phantom 1974 up for grabs at $6G and a CZ sidepiper 250 and a yellow tank 1971 250, both as original as I can get them.
My attitude with Dave is that he finds interesting stuff; and if you want it, you know you will always be able to prise it out of him. He loves a swap deal.

There will be a listed psychiatric condition soon - Alsopism: where the sufferer will lust after an object, imbue it with great importance, add to its value with accessories, and then when sitting in the owners possession he will be deterred by the slightest blemish and not have the will to remedy it so sells the whole lot.

See you, until the next 'name change' or 'this is a keeper' statement.
ie: not long.
Luv ya Dave.

Thanks Firko, when you inspired by a great topic or a rare individual, it's not hard.
Thankfully I sold the OSSA Phantom '74 for $6000 and the CZ TP is off the endangered list and sitting in the lounge room after I gave the neibours a sample of CZ pipe and gearwhine.
Just have to make up the the $1500 for the Banana JAWA.
Ah, life is grand.
