Those more recent shots are still quite a few years old I think?

Some photo's I took back in 2010,

The track originally ran anti clockwise. It was reversed for the Classic Nats in 2010 and I think it has stayed in the clockwise direction since then.

the original almost natural terrain track that had the uphill start ,sweeping to off camber first turn , moccapan etc was pretty okay.

I can remember when A.C.U.V. first got the place and my club East Malvern M.C.C. would go up there for working bees and our job was wiring tyres to the fence line and we had to be careful of the redbacks that were living in the tyres. After the days work we could then ride around the track for a few hours. Back in the early days i can remember the very fast downhill back straight. That all got changed after the Danny Rielly Crash....  Was a great track in the late 70s and early 80s...

Yeh I remember going up with Frankston Club and building fences.  I remember lining up for scrutineering with Brent for the Channel O event before that track was there.

I think you had a CR125M1, I was on my RM125A that I bought off Steve Cramer.  I remember not getting good starts and being lost in the dust cloud lol.

na M2,M3 where the same , M is original green stripe ,M1 is 75 with redstripe and some minor porting etc ,M2 is the first all red tank and frame, first LTR with moved up shocks. You're forgiven for mixing that up since you were a Suzuki guy back then.

I believe they still have Danny Reilly memorial events in SA. I always wondered what had happened.
RIP Danny
