For anyone interested, ProX part number: 03-6642 rod kit, from a 95 Skidoo, will fit CR250M & Odessy, and also 1979/80 Suzuki RM250N/T.

sounds good. that will mean it will fit PE's. i will have to check on this. i always knew a ski doo rod suposedly fits. when i got the new BB importers/pro x catalogue i measured my nos rod suzukiand compared to mesuremnents of skidoo rods but i couldnt find one exactly the same. there was one or 2 measurements a half to 1mm out. i will re-check aginst the specs for that part number though

posted to the suzuki.do you have to put a spacer under the barrel or is it an exact fit .my hot rods kit came with a 4mm spacer for my 1973 cr250

No spacer, and with regard to The RM fitment, yes the big end pin is .8mm shorter than the Suzuki item. You can buy a longer pin and a couple of extra thust washers or do what I did and just press the pin in a bit extra and have it inside the crank webs .4mm each side. No problems either way but cheaper doing it the ay I did.
