Scored an RT-1MX cylinder today
« on: September 08, 2012, 12:50:07 pm »
I found an RT-1MX cylinder today.  It is already bored to 1.25mm over.  I can get an aftermarket piston kit for 1.50 or 2.00mm, but man that seems big.  Is it safe to go that big?

2mm over is no problem.
then after you run out of genuine Yammy pistons,
you can move onto the TS 400 piston (with wrist pin mods) ;)
there still seems to be a good supply of piston port barrels on ebay.
