When I look at that good lookin' gear I wonder to myself how the hell can we let the chookies get  the lap record at Nepean???
We need to train up some proper old fashioned short circuit riders out of the up and coming younger brigade!
cheers pancho.

After getting an astronomical electicity bill yesterday, the freakin' power has been off most of today, so here we go with Mark's or should I say Pancho Villa's, " He was a Mexican bandit, wasn't he ?? " new toy acquired in an across the border raid !!  ;D

The colour scheme on the bike and the trailer are interesting to say the least !

Well fellas',
The Hagon is in my shed ;D with a lot of spares. I,ll have to pull it down and rebuild but everything is there. The frame is in top nick and with a spit and polish the motor will look like new. New tyres,re-chrome the front wheel and handlebars etc . Fix the engine mounts, new seat and grips and away we go!
Called in to Granite Park Raceway on the way home and drove around the track.
Took some pics. The track is rooted. It's a BIG BIG track, shit we must have been going pretty fast back then.
                          Cheers   Mark

Good news , Mark, I'm glad it got there safely.
How long is it  since you've had a Hagon JAP in the shed ? feels good,ay? I don't fire my Hagon TT up too often, but it's bloody good to have it here, I do kinda wish it was an Elstar, but believe me, it'll do !!
Are they standard Hagon bars on yours ? or are they alloy ?

Great news Mark and give it a cuddle tonight for me.
Who do we have to speak to about getting Seymour going again?
Seems like a huge shame to me.

Foss,
I reckon it would be at least 30 yrs since I sold my Hagon and I'm not sure about the bars because I keep looking at the motor!!
Slides,
You would need someone with a LOT of money to get the track back in shape but it sure would be a great thing if it did happen.

Could this be yours Mark?
Confusing thing is that the frame is red, looks like Nepean but not sure what year, maybe 72.

P.S. It may be an Elstar, on second glance the tank looks Elstar. Probably not yours but a good shot of GC anyway.

Geez,  I forgot all about this thread! i'll have to organise some updated pics of my JAP.
Great shot of GC in the pits Steve. Sorry to say it's not my old bike. That is an early
GODDEN I reckon '71 or '72. The sub-frame, rear guard, tank and front hub etc. are
dead give -aways,.....not to mention the color ;)
