Well there's a match race on it's own because Foss is pretty keen.
You two have to start next to each other.

Anyone else going to put their hand up or know someone that might be keen?

Bit worried the prospect of heavy duty 'agricultural' type machines digging 12" furrows might cause concern with NMSC.

Don't put your condom's, protective clothing, on just yet.
It look's like we may have a goer but unfortunately it will be a bit late to include it in for this years Charity meeting on the 4/5th of Aug.
I'll be out at Nepean from Fri for the whole of this weekend for the King of meeting and It'll give me a good chance to discuss it more with the powers that be, so far so good.

Could not let this one rest!
Its a good time of the year to start throwing this great idea around again, beng that calenders are being drawn up, I reckon a swap meet and dirt drags would be a great money spinner for any club. ;D

G'day Darren, dirt bike junkie.
Here's the latest on both of those ideas.
There have been long term noise issues at Nepean and moving the start line down to the opposite corner of the track is on the cards in the near future, unfortunately until that happens the Dirt Drag idea will have to be put on the backburner, hopefully not for long.
As for the Swapmeet idea for the Saturday of the charity meeting, so far it looks like being a goer next year but not confirmed just yet.
I've put my hand up as one of the BWP delegates for Nepean, I've got my first meeting next Monday and will know a bit more on both these proposals after that.
Stay tuned because I reckon they're both goers, only if there is strong support.

G day Steve
I ran a swap meet at Morriset for over 10yrs and I can honestly say that a bike only swap would be well supported.
There is still a huge number of blokes who choose not to go down the ebay path.
It is also a good oportunity for blokes to get away for the weekend with their mates, camp and have a few beers with the excuse of getting all the junk out of the shed.
The charity weekend would be a great date and would certainly help spread the word on the joys of vintage dirt track  ;)
Ive been riding all my life and only found out about it 2 years ago and I"m hooked.
How many more injuries could I have if only I had discovered it earlier ;)

Love to the old 754* Sidecar up at the sprint start! Cheers and Damn fine idea.

* Where in my shed is that old 1048cc stroker engine...
Mind you the massive torque steer jump to the left at take off might be tricky.
I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.
