How cool would this beast look unrestored, but fixed enough to make it roadworthy and run hard like the rat rod VW's you see with rusty hoods etc!

Cool VW.   looking at those forks on the RT i reckon i might have something like that at the back of the shed.............. but i thought it was a disadvantage.  might just be listing mine next if that price keeps moving up ..

I saw a rat rod at Eastern Creek Nostalgia Drags with rust custom painted on. You had to get right up close to tell if it was real or not. I love the VW too. Fix the forks on the RT2 and it'd make a cool pitbike for CD9 8).

rust is the new black. At the Beach  Hop 75,000 people and Hot rods/muscle cars for africa the grand parade (2000) cars was won buy a rusty rat rod.
