That frame doesn't look anything like my C & J's frames lots extra brackets and very odd shock mounts. The only thing that makes look C & J is the sideport down tube which has a bend in it to let carb fit.

That's just a '74 CR250 frame with a dodgy shock lay down kit. I'm sure old mate would know that as it would have CR250 stamped on the steering head.

its a cr250m 1973 74 frame pre 75 if you fix up the rear shock mounts and cr front end
