Wow I've not seen these style of shocks before, could anyone give some info?  When were they made?  How many were made? Who used them? What did they cost new?  Can you get parts for them?  What lengths did they come in?  Is it easy to adjust the damping?

Ok, I didn't even think to check his other items, wow all right. I reckon his stuff is dirt cheap. I wish I hadn't of seen any it in the first place now :'(  How long will it be before you see  a new pair of period correct aftermarket shocks as funky as them again :o

Wouldn't matter if they didn't work. You could just hang them on the wall. I could get $600 worth of starring out of them, easy peasy.

Did you get the 15.5" set?  Looks like the 17.5" was still being bid on when I last checked.  :)

Late 70's, were not very popular, most Pro's preferred Fox's, Thor Lawson has seals for them, they come in various lengths, damping isn't easily adjusted.

It would appear that he has found a stash of old NOS, I wonder how many sets he has?

My set arrived today.  They are beautiful!  ;D

The manual says they only came in the three sizes 15.5, 16.3 and 17.6 (78-80 Honda CR's and Suzuki RM's).

think they have a spring inside and hard to get oil/air right - but great period kit.

That's what the diagram shows, so they would be similar to KYB forks (light spring, air vs oil volume)
