We had a great weekend. The MX track was awesome on Saturday but the sprinklers worked a little overtime on Saturday night in a few spots for the Sunday session, but overall a great weekend. Well done to Peter Drakeford and all those involved which also includes the many volunteers and well done to Roger Harvey on his new book, fantastic job once again !

Here are a few happy snaps of the weekends takings  ;D

Earlier on today while on his way home from HBBB, photographer Bill Forsyth dropped in to deliver some Yamaha stuff I'd bought from a Victorian guy. Bill didn't need much prompting to bring his lap top in and show me an hour or so's worth of the literally thousands of photos he took at HBBB. From the look of Bills shots it seems that I missed a great event. When I went to my first HBBB a few years ago the dirt track/speedway part of the program seemed to be a tacked on afterthought but Bills photos showed me that the dirt track side of things has really picked up to the point that it seems to get the most spectators as well as a continually growing number of flat trackers and interesting dirt track and speedway machines. The motocross track looked to be in good shape with plenty of bikes and the main show over at the road race course looked to have even more exotica than previous years.

I'm really pissed off that I couldn't make it this year but my Kevlar Komrades and I have vowed that we'll be there with our flat track tackle next year.

This did happen the throttle jammed on, then several times after that the cause at this stage is unknown apart from either a worn slide or binding throttle spring it did throw me on the ground pretty violently left a bit of skin off so after it tried to continously kill me I put it away,

When, I sure it, it looked like the front brake locked, when the bike hit the ground the throttle jammed open, nusty, very nusty.
